Stirling Mechanical successfully led a $2.97M HVAC modernization project at the Marine Parkway Gil-Hodges Memorial Bridge Annex Building, the central hub for MTA Bridges and Tunnels personnel who oversee the operation and upkeep of the Marine Parkway Bridge.

Project Scope

​

  • Full removal of outdated HVAC systems, including AHUs, ACCUs, duct heaters, unit heaters, exhaust fans, ductwork, mechanical piping, and associated electrical/architectural components.

  • Installation of a new high-efficiency HVAC system, including 12 Air Handler Units, 2 Heat & Energy Recovery Units, Electric Duct Heaters, space heaters, and a domestic water booster pump.

  • Expansion from 5 to 12 temperature-control zones for precise comfort across offices and warehouse spaces.

  • Architectural modifications, new ductwork, piping, air inlets/outlets, and full electrical/controls integration.
