Bob Sammons
President
Bob has been working on NYC infrastructure projects for his entire professional career, dating back to 2007. He has worked on some of MTA’s largest projects, installing and commissioning the most complex mechanical infrastructure systems, from fan plants to pump rooms to elaborate BMS installations.
As the head of Stirling, Bob aims to grow the company into the premier NYC mechanical infrastructure contractor with a focus on delivering exceptional product and service from a knowledgeable and experienced team.

Alex Shi Chenel
Operations Manager
Alex has been thriving in the NYC infrastructure scene, starting early in her career as a summer intern right out of high school. As an engineer, Alex was known for her quick problem-solving, meticulous coordination, and efficient execution of projects from start to finish. Her attention to detail, technical knowledge, and experience with MTA/NYCT work are invaluable to Stirling in her current role as Operations Manager.

Chris Herrick
Operations Manager
Chris has built NYC infrastructure as both a mechanical and general contractor since 2017. He has delivered a wide range of projects - from aqueducts and treatment plants to warehouses, pools, subway stations, pump stations, police precincts and more. Chris employs industry relationships and experience to steer Stirling's team beyond project goals, catapulting growth as NYC's premier mechanical infrastructure contractor.

Gabrielle Formoso
Project Manager
Gabrielle excels at field coordination and planning. Her history of working on complicated MTA projects and her excellence in the subcontractor role demonstrate her strengths when it comes to project management. She works diligently on her projects to ensure the utmost success with field coordination, quality assurance, and project execution.

Argiris Papadopoulos Project Manager
Argiris’s technical acumen and practical experience make him a great asset in planning and executing field installations. Argiris has strong, hands-on experience with HVAC installations, including split AC systems and exhaust fans installed in the hectic subway stations of NYC. His management of subcontractors and clear communication with clients makes him an integral part of our team.

Anthony Wurtz Project Manager
Anthony has spent his entire career working in the NYC public works sector, specializing in heavy mechanical contracting. He has completed a wide range of specialty mechanical installations, ranging from new system builds to upgrades of existing mechanical systems. This experience has provided him with a deep familiarity with the processes of various agencies, including the MTA, NYCDEP, PANYNJ, OGS, AMTRAK, NYSDOT, and more.

Daniel Zaretsky
Project Engineer
Daniel is skilled in coordinating and managing the technical aspects of his projects. His creative problem-solving skills and extensive design knowledge equips him to develop custom solutions tailored to each client. He works diligently to ensure all engineering and design elements align with project goals and specifications.

Aiden Yurdiga
Project Engineer
Aiden thrives in coordinating the technical design elements of his projects. He effectively communicates across different teams and stakeholders to resolve coordination issues and provide technical support on-site. He ensures all project documentation is complete, current, and compliant with contract requirements.

Dhwanil Barbhaya
Project Engineer
Dhwanil began his journey in the construction industry as an intern, working on New York School Construction Authority (SCA) projects and MTA infrastructure upgrades. His hands-on experience sparked a strong curiosity for the mechanical side of construction. Dhwanil supports on-site coordination and assists with documentation preparation, bringing a collaborative and quality-focused approach.

James Thompson Project Engineer
James brings strong communication and critical thinking to every project. Known for his multitasking and problem-solving skills, he keeps projects on schedule through a mix of creative thinking and technical knowledge. With experience in hands-on solutions, James takes personal care of each project he works on.

Abby King
Office Engineer
Abby is a key part of our project team, efficiently handling correspondence and documentation for multiple projects at once. Her strong organizational and communication skills make her a crucial link between Stirling’s field team and office staff. Abby’s commitment to streamlining processes helps our office operate seamlessly.

Alkaios Stratoulias
Intern
Alkaios creates precise mechanical drawings and models that transition seamlessly from CAD to construction. His on-site experience gives him a practical sense of how designs perform in real-world conditions, allowing him to bridge the gap between conceptual planning and implementation.
