Stirling Mechanical furnished, installed, and commissioned a split air-conditioning system within the Jamaica Rail Control Center security room.

 

Project Scope

​

• Demolition of an existing packaged Trane rooftop unit.

• Installation of a new Mitsubishi City Multi-Condenser along with two new evaporators.

• Managed new roofing, electrical, HVAC, and fire alarm scopes as a required part of this project.

Key Achievements

 

• The work was done while the security room was in continuous operation, so all work activities and phasing needed to be closely coordinated and executed with the office facility to ensure that their critical operation was not impeded.
